Partners, Prototypes & a Rooftop Rainbow: THEO Day 2025

June 23rd brought not one, but two major milestones: the official opening of Maxphotonics’ European HQ in Gilching – and THEO Day. No better reason to celebrate.

What. A. Day

Training. Testing. Talking

Prototypes? Here we go

It was very exciting to see the new products, and the new developments are very interesting. I can already imagine the opportunities for our customers, and I’m looking forward to getting the final product,” said Lukasz Bigus from Poland (PraxWeld Sp. Z o.o.).

It’s all still top-secret – but let’s just say: the buzz was real.

2025 may not be an easy year for our industry,” said Dr. Frank Jiang, CEO and Founder of Maxphotonics, “but we’re confident that manufacturing in Europe will rebound – and those who prepare early will be the first to benefit. That’s why we continue to invest in expanding our European service network, developing new products, and continuously improving performance, safety, and usability.”
He also emphasized the importance of a strong distribution system, professional training, and outstanding customer support – to ensure our dealers have everything they need to succeed.

THEO Day: A Statement for a Strong Network

Feedback? Bring it on. Raw. Real. Valuable

THEO Day was never just about showcasing products. It was about listening. About a real “We are listening”. We talked shop, explored market needs, and gathered honest feedback – the kind that flows straight into our development process.

The partner involvement was well received – including by Georgi Baharev from Bulgaria (Kimex Technology): “I think the customer feedback sessions were an excellent idea to collect our opinion before the product is finalized and ready for the market. Overall, I’m positively impressed.”

And beyond product updates, the day pointed toward something bigger: the future – built together. As Dr. Jiang said in his speech: “We are building a brand – a long-term effort grounded in professionalism, technology, and true partnership. It’s not just about better machines. It’s about better user experiences and better results – on every level.

Rain, wind, heat? The machines held up – and so did our guests. Despite the weather, the rooftop BBQ went ahead as planned – rainbow and panoramic views of the fields included. On the grill: everything a laser lover could ask for. Behind the bar: custom gin cocktails by our sales guy (and now unofficial company mixologist) Steffen. And when the DJ dropped 80s and 90s hits at sunset, we knew: THEO Day was a full-on success.

Productive. Collaborative. Relaxed. That’s THEO. Because what we’re building is more than tech – it’s a strong, engaged community, ready for the next step.

See you next year – and until then: Say No to Slow.
